About Me

I've Arrived!

I know, I know...I'm already past due. It's taken a few months to get my 'sea legs' if you will. So for my first few posts, I'll be looking back, reminiscing, and getting you all up to speed...(cue wavy fade out...)

I'll admit, my entry into this world was slightly disorienting. Bright lights, lots of commotion, air. I'd say that last one has been the hardest adjustment. Thankfully, I was born into a room full of love. And shortly thereafter, the visitors started rolling in...

Everyone was super sweet, and this mommy chic seemed to know what she was doing, so that was reassuring. I did meet one energetic character that I think I'll have to keep my on...so I have a feeling I'll be sleeping like this for the first couple of weeks:

Finally, it was time to go home! We packed up and said ADIOS to the hospital.

I'll be honest - I slept through the entire maiden voyage...but we made it home safe and sound.

Grandma Marsha was waiting for our arrival - and she sure knows how to make a girl feel special!

Talk about special...I even get my own room! Thank goodness...I hear that daddy of mine snores.

They were waiting for me to arrive to finish the décor (apparently some were questioning whether or not I was a girl??), so I'll have this room screaming little girl in no time.

Can't wait to see what the next few weeks of living post-utero have in store for me!
