Staycation

I should clarify - staycation for Henry and I, for mama and daddy, it was a vacation to Seattle. Daddy had some work to do and mama went along for moral support and to enjoy time with some of her favorite people... besides me of course!

While they were away, Grandma Janet & Grandpa Denny took some time off from their kitchen remodel to stay and play with us.

I had such a great time... take a look!

 Clearly, I enjoyed myself. I hope they did too!

The Great & His Grand

I know I'm lucky - I have FOUR great grandparents in my life. The other weekend, one of them (Great Grandpa Eddie) stopped by to see me, and we had a blast!

I'm really into pulling up on things (and people), and he didn't seem to mind! He totally gets me...(video inserted, must go to website to view)

It was fun showing GGpa my alligator game.

Henry and I both get a kick out of GGpa's stories. He has so many!!

I wore out GGpa, so while he was resting, I headed outside to make a snowman. It was a group effort, but I will say some of us helped more than others...

Overall - this was my sentiment with having GGpa around. Can't wait for next time!

Winter fun

This winter has been all over the place... cold/clear, warm/dry, cold/snowy...no matter the weather, we try to make the best of it!

Riding in our red wagon is one of my favorite activities.

Henry got a SWEET scooter for Christmas, so when he wasn't looking, I asked daddy to let me give it a try. I'm a natural.

Of course, when the weather doesn't cooperate, we make fun inside.

I love going to the grocery store nowadays... the front seat is so much fun!

Visiting the ladies at the gym is also a great way to pass the time.

All of this activity can be quite exhausting, so sometimes it's important to slow down and enjoy a nice bottle of milk. Nothing better!

Merry Christmas to All

Well, another Christmas has come and gone... and since I have no previous history with this particular holiday, I'd have to say, it was the best one yet!

I'm still fuzzy on the concept of Christmas, but the traditions seemed to hinge upon meeting a giant man dressed in red with fur cuffs and a white beard. He seemed somewhat hospitable, but I'm still not sure what the HUGE deal was about him. Either way, I'm glad I was with my big brother for the encounter.

Here it is! (Okay - the plastic stayed on, but I gnawed away regardless!

 

The main festivities began on Christmas Eve. That's when Grandma Marsha, Grandpa John, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Brett arrived. We had a blast - and after meeting Santa Man, I'm much less concerned about Grandpa John's facial hair.

 



 





 

Although I love my Grandpa, I had a photo shoot with that elf hat earlier... and I may have pulled it off slightly better. I'll let you be the judge:

Christmas morning was quite eventful. My brother was cruising around the house on his new scooter by the time I awoke.

 

Henry was good enough to "help" me open most of my presents, but I was able to get my hands on a few:

I hope everyone had a great holiday season, and looking forward to the New Year! Henry and I had to bid farewell to my folks 4.5 hours short of ringing in 2015, but by the looks of them the next morning - they made it. And then some. Cheers to a new year of memories!

 

 



Happy Thanksgiving!

My first Thanksgiving was officially a success. I'm still not completely sure what we were celebrating...or what all of those yummy smelling foods represented, but that didn't stop me from having a great time. I also met some new people, which I loved!

Birthday Bash!

A couple of weeks ago, my big brother got even bigger! He turned 3, and mama and daddy threw a party to celebrate. A pretty solid tradition, if you ask me...

I met SO many people, it was hard to keep track of who was who. Thankfully, since I can't actually "verbalize" yet, there was no threat of calling anyone by the wrong name. This baby thing has it's benefits.
